Do not expose them to Extremely Low or high temperatures:

Exposure to extreme temperatures for long periods could cause every battery to weaken significantly. Additionally, they can cause the units to ignite and explode. If your laptop or phone is running hot, be sure that it's not connected.

For EVs, the majority of manufacturers recommend that their vehicles aren't exposed to extreme temperatures. Some suggest that EVs should be kept in shade and not be connected when temperatures are hot.

Avoid using fast chargers:

If you'd like to decrease the rate of discharge by closing applications that use a lot of power, deactivate location services, and reduce the brightness of your display. If you own a power tool with wireless connectivity do not store it with the batteries inside. Similar to using fast chargers, they can reduce the lifespan of the battery substantially.

Do not store the battery in moist environments:

In general, battery degrading is composed of two types that are power fade and capacity fade. The term "power fade" refers to an increase in the power that the battery can provide. On the other hand, capacity fade is less capable of the battery pack it can store.
