One of the most common questions our customers ask is when to call an animal disposal service. Many are still unsure whether to seek professional help or whether to handle the situation on their own.

The short answer to this question is to call an expert animal trapper to help as soon as you suspect a wild animal is on your property. Waiting for this "best time" can mean it will be too late for help.

Wildlife is unpredictable. Some of them, like the raccoons, will leave as soon as you burn them or drive them away. However, many are not easily intimidated because they prefer to forage before leaving.

While generally harmless, if the raccoon thinks you are going to hurt it, they have reason to attack you if they feel threatened for any reason. Some animals hide quite well.

You may have a whole family of mice living in your attic for months without you knowing it. There may be raccoons and babies in your garden right now. Therefore, you should watch out for signs of their presence.

For example, a mouse would roll around in the middle of the night and make a squeak or scratch sound. Of course, if you see actual wildlife on your property, you should ask for help immediately.
